Welcome to Salt and Light Outreach Inc. The both of us have always had a heart for the broken, and God has been stirring our hearts to be more proactive in the things that drive both of us towards love and compassion. We would enjoy getting to know you and hope that you might be stirred as well to join us in our little part of the world. We want to see people walking in the fullness of Christ, in spite of their lives' and devastating circumstances. We believe 100% that you can find FREEDOM in the Lord and in His Word and grow in Biblical Love.
Hi, my name is Pastor Chris, and I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Psychology at the University of Oshkosh in Wisconsin. I also graduated with a nursing degree from Fox Valley Technical College. I was a missionary at the Turtle Mountain Indian Reservation in North Dakota. I am currently working Southwest Missouri, as a hospice nurse. I am passionate about working with the homeless and others with past addiction and trauma. I have worked with people from all backgrounds and age groups. I have led children’s groups, youth groups, and adult bible studies. I have also worked with people with mental health challenges and have seen them have great victories in Christ. My heart is to see people find restoration and healing through their Savior, Jesus Christ. Right now, I am also very engaged in serving the homeless and recovering addicts in my community.
Hi there, my name is Kristin, and I have a background in caretaking and early childhood education. I have reached out to serve the homeless from an early age, desiring to see them made whole through love, compassion, and prayer. I enjoy hitting the streets and offering drinks, food, clothing, and prayer to those in need in my community. Coming from a very broken background myself, I have found it a great joy to come alongside my husband in serving the least of these. I enjoy sharing Christ with others in my community through service, whether it be to cook a meal for the community or pass out necessities. I was able to serve at the local warming center this past winter, and it really inspired me and gave me an even closer, up-front view of what types of things my community, and the people in it, need to thrive. Chris and I also enjoy counseling others together.
